Project Description:**The Designer agrees to provide design services for a magazine featuring the Couple, as mutually agreed upon.
2. Payment Terms: A 50% deposit of the total project fee is required prior to the commencement of design work. Upon completion and final approval of the design, the remaining 50% balance is due. * Failure to remit the final payment within 30 days of final approval will result in the forfeiture of the deposit, and the magazine will not be released.
3. Social Media Usage: The Couple grants permission for their images (images send to designer) to be used for promotional purposes on the Designer's social media platforms.
4. Revision Policy: The initial design draft includes one round of minor revisions. Subsequent revision requests will incur a fee of $100 per additional draft.
5. Meeting Attendance: A grace period of 15 minutes will be observed for the initial consultation. A $50 late fee will be applied to the Couple's invoice if they arrive after this period. * Conversely, if the Designer arrives more than 15 minutes late, a $50 credit will be applied to the Couple's final balance.
Meeting Changes: 24-hour notice required. Late changes (less than 24 hours) incur $50 fee. Designer's late change: $50 client credit. Exceptions: emergencies, acts of God, and death.
6. Draft Usage: The use of any draft materials, including those with watermarks, for personal printing purposes is strictly prohibited. Any unauthorized printing of draft materials will result in a charge of triple the original project fee and forfeiture of the final, professionally printed magazine.
7. Project Cancellation: In the event that the couple and or client cancels the project or stops the design process, the initial deposit is non-refundable.
8. Shipping and Handling: If your magazine(s) arrive damaged or are lost during shipping, the shipping carrier is liable. Please contact us immediately to initiate a claim. Sonder Magazines will assist you in filing the claim with the carrier for a replacement or refund.
9. Entire Agreement: This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
10. Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kansas.
11. Acceptance: By checking the "Terms and Conditions" box on the "Greetings" page, the Client acknowledges and agrees to be bound by the terms of this contract. This electronic acceptance shall have the same force and effect as a written signature.
